Where every other knife opens forward, the Résiliant goes the other way. An inverted mechanism, designed and tuned by hand, that exists nowhere else.

Born in Thiers, forged by hardship
“Having overcome a long and painful illness, I realised how fragile, short and precious life is. I wanted to leave something behind from my time on earth. That is when the idea came to me: a knife with an inverted opening.”
With no formal training but fierce determination, welcomed by the knifemakers of the Thiers region, he learned the craft. The first orders came through social media, from Belgium, the United States and Switzerland. The die was cast.

The drawing
From sketch to templates: cardboard, plastic, then metal. Every shape is proven before the first spark flies.
The steel
D2, carbon, damascus. Cryogenic tempering for outstanding resistance to wear and oxidation.
The assembly
Tuning, fitting, polishing. The inverted-opening mechanism demands hours of fine adjustment, by hand.
The leather sheath
Every Résiliant leaves with its French-made leather sheath, shaped to measure.
